A Legacy That Preceded the Dream
Some journeys begin with ambition. Others begin with inheritance — not of position, but of values.
Palak’s understanding of justice was shaped long before she chose law as a profession. It was shaped at home.
She grew up influenced by a lineage deeply rooted in law, ethics, and public service. Her great-grandfather, Late Chiranjilal Agrawal — an advocate, freedom fighter, pioneer in legal education, and a key force behind the establishment of National Law School of India University (NLSIU) — believed that law must serve society, not distance itself from it.
That belief carried forward through her grandfather, the late Hon’ble Justice S. C. Agrawal, whose life embodied balance, fairness, and quiet integrity within the judiciary.
Justice, for Palak, was never abstract. It was lived, observed, and questioned.
Dvika is a tribute — to those who believed in justice as service, in law as responsibility, and in progress rooted in integrity.
It carries forward that legacy, not by repeating the past, but by making it relevant for the future.
Learning the System Before Questioning It
When Palak chose law, it was not out of convention — it was a conscious decision to understand how society functions at its core.
Her father encouraged clarity over idealism, exposing her early to the realities of courtrooms and legal processes. That exposure revealed both the strength of the system and the gaps within it.
Those gaps stayed. They would later become questions worth solving.
Resilience, Perspective, and Choice
Midway through law school, a serious injury forced an unexpected pause. It tested momentum, confidence, and direction.
But more than resilience, it offered perspective — the ability to step back and evaluate what truly mattered.
By the time she graduated, the path forward was clear: not merely to work within existing systems, but to strengthen them.
Why Dvika
Dvika was built from a sense of responsibility — to use technology as a means of clarity, access, and empowerment.
The name comes from “Dvi,” meaning two — two sides of a story, a case, a truth. Justice exists in the balance between them.
Dvika reflects a belief that:
